Community Tasting Note

Thursday, July 28, 2022 - My first Moelleux and really enjoyed it. On first tasting, I find myself wanting to compare it to Riesling, and while it does have an Auslese type sweetness it is very much its own thing. Yum!!

On day 1, the nose is apple, peach, and very floral. On the palate, there is a honeyed acidity, very rich. The sweetness and acidity are well balanced. Day 2, more stone fruits, heavy on pear with a peach accent, and a honey glaze.

I drank it before and during my meal.
