Sunday, February 4, 2024 - I opened this half-bottle (bought on sale) to use as a sauce wine…but after tasting it…immediately used something else! While it has a very restrained nose of black and blue (plum) fruit and tobacco, the creamy body and dry but silkily gliding finish seemed in beautiful harmony. I enjoyed this throughout a pleasant, leisurely steak dinner at home.
