Saturday, April 11, 2009 - Medium ruby, translucent. Lavender and menthol on the nose. Similarly, medium weight and all garrigue in the mouth, although some candied tones suggest more fruit to come. Sound acidity, lowish tannin, although the latter sneaks up on you with subsequent tastes. As with my first taste of this wine, I liked the elegance and savory complexity here. Relatively accessible early.
