* Not quite sure what the praise is all about. Pleasant violet nose. Some dark fruit and slight minerality covered up by the tannins. Became softer with time But all in all this one was a very generic effort to me.

* After consuming the 2nd of my 3 bottles, I like the bouquet more than the hot tannic lifeless palate . The high 15% alcohol was more pronounced on day 2 creating a disjointed hodgepodge with a short finish. More time in the cellar will not remedy the imbalance.
Modest price . No plans to re-stock.
