Friday, September 10, 2010 - Opened with anticipation and decanted for about 30mins. Well kept bottle at the Beaugraviere in Rhone (probably the best value wine list in France)Wine is getting into its stride.
The colour is turnign and is no longer the ruby red of its youth. On first snif the nose overwelms you. Beautiful and seductive with lots of fruit and a sweetness to it. Round on the palate but still very vibrant and alive and the tannins are present. Very very nice. Give it a few years more if you can.
