Saturday, February 10, 2024 - Interesting this can be up to 96% Chardonnay. They trade Chardonnay fruit for Pinot to make this. Franck Bonville only grows Chardonnay. 5 grams dosage.

It has excellent mousse and racy acidity. Better depth than the two previous cuvées.

Strawberries, cherries, very light black raspberries, touch of orange citrus, pink grapefruit, their is a tanginess here, nice soft chalkiness & volcanics, saline, sea fossils, white spice, yeast, baguette crust, cheesecake, pink flowers/roses, excellent acidity, nicely balanced with good tension and a nicely polished finish that last a minute.

This is the youngest in the mix and most of the base wine is from 2021…a year filled with weather issues from start to finish. Don’t think you’ll see many producers make a vintage cuvée.
