Friday, July 7, 2023 - No detailed notes taken. The palate showed very well, highly layered, intense, pure and elegant, and with a superb balance. On the nose, however, this always had a bit of aged soy sauce and oxidation notes, which never fully blew off. With a bit of air, it got better but the bouquet never came close to the sensational palate experience. 96pts for the palate alone… overall a bit lower.
Decanting: Not decanted, improved a bit with air. My advice would be to decant 1-2 hours at least.
