Sunday, June 30, 2019 - Return to Aus; 6/23/2019-7/5/2019 (Adelaide, South Australia wine regions, Tassie, Yarra, etc.): Blend of 90% Cab Sauv, 4% Merlot, 4% Cab Franc, 2% Petit Verdot. Domaine A is a sister winery to Moorilla now and this wine is meant to be more of the Praxis/Muse level for them. This reminded me a ton of a well done second growth Bordeaux. I say second growth because it really relys on the spice cabinet and earth for flavors. Fruit is more muted and in the background (my impression is first growths always seem to find a way to maintain their fruit). All done in a compelling way. The kindof wine you know you could lie down and it will just get better and better.
