Monday, January 24, 2022 - Magenta in color with brick edge. Nose smells "hot" with stewed fruit & black licorice. On the palate, the wine is in balance, expressing dark fruit, leather, woody tannins & a pyrazine note. Tannins are still making their presence known, but enjoyably so...perceived on the gums and palate. The finish of blackberry jam is medium-to-long.
