Wednesday, November 13, 2019 - Burgundy Trip 2019 Day 1; 11/13/2019-11/25/2019: (Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé - Chambolle-Musigny) Barrel tasting with François Millet.

First wine tasted during this trip, and the deep ruby colour immediately gave an impression of this hot vintage. A nose of blackcurrant, purple flower, oak and sour plum, following by good freshness and phenolic ripeness on the palate with slightly bittersweet medium-weight flavours. 88+
