The finish shws off the tannins, powerful but not rough, and the last hint of sweet fruit. I chose this wine to accompany chimmichuri flatiron steak, so its concentration is appropriate. Reminiscent of old-fashioned California PS, I believe this is a very good wine but the style is still not my favorite. Best a little chilled.
