Saturday, March 19, 2022 - Delas' 2018 Ventoux is an unspecified blend of Grenache and Syrah that was fermented and aged in stainless steel. Deep ruby in color, it serves up an attractive package of red bramble fruits, cocoa, clove and lavender. Medium-bodied, softly tannic, seamlessly alcoholic (14.5%) and with good freshness, it stays dense on the mid-palate and concludes with a silky-textured, medium-length finish. This well-priced Southern Rhone is an "easy drinker" in every respect. It can be popped, poured and enjoyed any time over the next 2-3 years. Drink now-2025.
