Monday, August 19, 2013 - Extended Anniversary weekend. Dinner at Il Palio. AP #17-92. Orange to amber in color, this wine remains consistent as the essence of lemons and honey as the predominant notes. Also has the flavors of taiglach, Slovenian honey brandy, quince and apricot. Viscous but not at all heavy or tiring. Very clean ( non-botrytis ) Eiswein. Amazing match with the limoncello tiramisu. Will continue to drink very well for decades but I sadly am down to only 1 more 375ml in the cellar so I will not get to try it as it ages out as it is too good to stay away from. 50+14+14+9+9 = 96
