Monday, January 25, 2016 - A vertical of Joseph Swan Zins (Scott & Jo's): Purple/ruby in color. The nose has black raspberries, black pepper and charred wood. On the palate, this is pretty lush. Slightly jammy black raspberries, slight hard cherry candy note. Round and well balanced. Deep but not impenetrable. Great acidity. Worked great with a black bean dish. Long finish.
