Sunday, April 3, 2022 - This bottle was opened eleven (11) days ago (when I thought the wine was past peak) - and half of it stored in the refrigerator. Well. "surprise, surprise" - as 1960's television character Gomer Pyle might say. It was better on day 11 than on day 1. Rich, pronounced - almost profound - Sauvignon Blanc flavor. I have had many, many bottles of this mass produced wine, in this vintage - what an exceptional Q2P ratio. You don't always have to break the bank to drink delicious wine. This just blew away the similarly aged and stored leftover 2019 Cambria Chardonnay Catherine's Vineyard, an excellent value as well (and 94 points from AG), which displayed a bitter finish. OK, this is not complex and it is definitely not Sancerre, but it was less than 10 bucks. The more recent vintages are good, but I'm not sure they are quite at this level. This is not for wine geeks - this is a more than decent wine to serve to "ordinary people." Perfect with swordfish. (88+).
