Monday, October 26, 2009 - Clean deep ruby color. Nose of black cherries, boysenberry, charcoal, and tar. Palate has a lush mouthfeel with glycerin, but balanced acidity and a fine tannin background. Dense dark berries and red fruit highlights are most prominent, but a lengthy finish with earth and herbal notes carrying on. Very dense fruit forward, but impeccably balanced and showing nuance. Very well done and enjoyable.
