Saturday, March 17, 2007 - Tasted at a Houston OL event. Wine was opened 2 hrs prior to drinking.
Ruby red in color. Aromas of cherries, cola, forest floor, smoke, and black pepper spice. Quite a complex nose! Tannins have not yet integrated as wine was still young. Finish was hot as the alcoholic content was high, but it had bright fruit and acid to balance out. Wait and cellar for a few years and should evolve into a great wine.
