Sunday, July 1, 2007 - Dense color. Big fruit with loads of blue/boysenberry, licorice and chocolate. Palate is lush and almost fat laden. Would have liked a bit more acid/tannic structure to balance out the gorgeously layered fruit. We had this with tri tips and risotto and it did not pair that well.
