Saturday, November 22, 2008 - Intense ruby. Fruit evolved nicely over about 2.5 hours. Excellent with grilled meat - flank, tongue, rib-eye marinated in a variety of ways (Japanese). Equally good with earthy vegetables - kabocha, asparagus. Very well-balanced, smooth tannins, moderate oak. Simply a beautiful wine, well-crafted. Difficult to find.
