Saturday, February 27, 2021 - Medium gold color. Rich aromas of melon, pear, and lemon. On the palate, this shows roundness from barrel aging and the core flavor profile is pear, nutmeg, and pineapple with bitter mango notes coming in on a medium-long finish. While closed under a plastic cork, I still have doubts that this doesn't get oxidized in 5-7 years. It is rather delicious now, but I think there is competition at lower price points for this expression of Chardonnay. Drink or hold.
