Friday, March 1, 2024 - Dripping with golden honey, the 18 MdT is impressive. Ripened, concentrated, full of flavor. Initially kind of soft and plush, but with air, the acidity kind of peeks out. For an 18, it’s chiseled, but there are some marshmallow notes that work their way in with oxidation such that I do think this is an early drinking vintage. Delicious and worthy of a splurge.
