NOSE: high-toned earthy/minty mineral set against some light, medicinal, red fruits; aged cherry; moderately expressive; aromatics do give the overall impression of an aged wine.

BODY: violet-dark ruby color of medium-deep depth; slight bricking throughout; medium-light bodied.

TASTE: very flat; suspecting TBA, as I'm finding it difficult to call TCA. A second bottle was opened, and that one was more expressive, so either something was off with this one, or this is simply some bottle variation on full display.
