Sunday, February 13, 2022 - Great value for money gem which I bought from the Wine Soc a couple of years ago at a very heart warming £8.50 a bottle.

Dark ruby in colour with likeable chewy, approachable tannins, medium bodied, medium (+) acidity with fresh red plum, blackberry, dark cherry, slightly herbaceous, savoury flavours and a slight pinch of spice.

Could happily revisit this vintage in a year or two as I suspect the wine will generally be even more integrated.

Enjoyable quaffer that will hopefully complement my wife’s spicy chicken fajitas into delicious submission. Recommend!

6/5/2023 10:19:00 AM - 5th June 2023 - as hoped for, the wine 15 months later is now fully integrated and is drinking beautifully.

Still some red fruits while segwaying into slightly stewed more jam like flavours such as wild strawberry, dark cherry and roasted dark plum.

An extra lick of liquorice and a fine satisfying finish.

A remarkable wine for the entry level price. Well done The Wine Society! 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼
