Last bottle of 6 and back on form. The 5th bottle wasn’t good but this is back to its best. Good fruit, medium finish, herbs and smokiness. Just great value.

5th bottle of 6. This one a little thin and weak. Difficult to tell if it’s at the end if it’s drinking window or bottle variation. That said the other 4 have been great and very good value. Shall drink the last bottle sooner rather than later.

Great value for money gem which I bought from the Wine Soc a couple of years ago at a very heart warming £8.50 a bottle.
Dark ruby in colour with likeable chewy, approachable tannins, medium bodied, medium (+) acidity with fresh red plum, blackberry, dark cherry, slightly herbaceous, savoury flavours and a slight pinch of spice.
Could happily revisit this vintage in a year or two as I suspect the wine will generally be even more integrated.
Enjoyable quaffer that will hopefully complement my wife’s spicy chicken fajitas into delicious submission. Recommend!
Flawed. Some TCA, had worse, but the tantalising black fruit on the nose was dominated by it, also on the palate. Left it overnight and tried again but still lingering. Refunded.
