91 Points

Wednesday, August 2, 2017 - Blind White Burgs - Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet (Acadia): Tasted side-by-side with the 2002. Good in its own right, but not as thrilling as the 2002. Full nose with a myriad of aromas including spearmint, mature rich apples and mineral. The palate has good richness and concentration but the acids are starting to crack and the wine shows ever-so-slightly flat. Flavors are also more evolved with some sweet marshmallow in addition the mint and maturing white fruit.
