Monday, January 30, 2023 - Nice bottle.
Initially on the nose there was that Reynvaan/ Cayuse Rocks District funk element which calmed down with some time in the glass. I enjoyed how the savory Rocks orange rind components melded with the subtle cab franc pyrazines and cab sauv. red currant flavors . After a couple hours the nose is showing violet florals and as others have already so well described :
Here is a wine delivering a full textured spicy mid-palate, pleasure and complexity well beyond its modest price point.
