Friday, October 28, 2022 - Deep ruby, nearly purple at its core. A towering, Herculean sort of wine; yet for all its size and power, this manages to somehow be quite graceful for the style. On the nose this offers aromas of fresh black cherries, cassis, fresh iris blossoms, peppermint, spice and hot stones. Full bodied on the palate with medium+ acidity and a high level of quite ripe tannins that remind you that this is no valley floor fruit bomb. This is impressive and notably fresh and vibrant.
