Wednesday, June 12, 2019 - Five winos excellent adventure , mostly in Burgundy; 6/7/2019-6/15/2019 (Beaune, France): Per Erwan, whole cluster fermentation. Beguiling nose displaying subtle pure red fruit, fresh raspberry, cherry, stem, sap, rose, candied rose pedal and limestone. Really compelling sensual palate, very finely layered subtle red fruit, silky and creamy, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, and a seamless long subtle pure red fruit driven finish. This is a sensual and feminine wine that burgundy classicists can appreciate. Already drinking beautifully.
