Friday, July 19, 2013 - Dried fruits, prunes & raisins, some apricot. The inevitable and tasty caramel, of which it is coloured. Served at the cooler end of the range on a warm summers night and it was refreshingly sweet becoming more flavoursome, and better appreciated, in the hand (as it should).

Whilst it is a perfectly acceptable wine, I paid £40 ($60) for it and I consider it overpriced. Far be it for me to pass judgement on a winemakers toil, and a wine merchants 300-year pedigree, but I won't be back till I see it at £25. Am I cheap? Yes, but I have the luxury of choice.
