Friday, June 30, 2023 - This was yet another excellent vintage in today's vertical, but compared to 2000 it was more reserved and less opulent. There's a lot of structure here, and I suspect this is the better wine for the long haul, where 2000 has probably shown us most/all it has to show. I'd be eager to try 2001 again in 5+ years.
