Sunday, October 23, 2016 - Very nice everyday cab. First night was more of a fruit driven wine (plum and cassis) with decent backbone but no obvious secondary flavors. On the second day, the fruit has become more black cherry in flavor but become more muted, adding tobacco and coffee notes. More energy and balance on the finish in a more lightly bodied wine. Nose was tight both days.
