Thursday, April 21, 2016 - Cherries cherries: high toned maraschino backed up by black, highlighted by aromas of smoke, maybe some iceberg lettuce, and cinnamon. The palate is cinched but eager with separate but equal pillars of strawberry, coffee tones, and popsicle in a base of vanilla extract. I don't see this relaxing enough in time ... and the age looks good on it: catch this at its zenith. -2018
