Wednesday, January 31, 2024 - Opaque ruby purple color with an enticing red berry, peach, black raspberry, earth, bergamot, red licorice?chalk dust and spice perfume. In the palate, it’s medium bodied and one of the freshest Zins I’ve had with dusty tannins. It shows ripe black raspberry, strawberry confit, dried Morello cherry,vanilla red licorice and spice flavors with a clean, long finish.

Fruit for this wine sourced from estate certified organic vineyard was on the west side Paso. Panted in the 1920s on ancient marine calcareous soils, the vines are head-trained and dry-farmed.
