Friday, December 8, 2017 - This followed directly on the heels of the '10 Clos Rougeard Le Bourg, so a bit of a tough transition for the palate. Seemed quite lean and almost astringent in comparison initially and took me a bit to adjust. Not a lot of fruit noticeable here, more earth and leather and acid. Clearly improves for me when paired with the pizza, but generally did not wow me.
