Tuesday, November 21, 2023 - Enjoyed with a friend over dinner and didn't take detailed notes, but this Château Montrose was absolutely singing. Tertiary qualities of forest floor, cedar wood, pencil shavings and leather really standing out on the palate. Picked up some truffle, dark fruit on the nose. Just a great example of a vintage that flies under the radar.
