Thursday, August 27, 2020 - Given the recommendations by many people I follow I found this disappointing. No doubt it is excellent on the palate but it is too hard to overlook the lack of aroma.

Almost nothing on the nose. Some black cherry, black plum and vanilla.

In the mouth this wine is well-rounded with medium+ body, firm tannins, front of palate acidity and well integrated alcohol.

Flavours of cigar, ash, forest floor / earth, black cherry, clove and pepper.

I suspect this will be even better in a year or two.
