Friday, November 20, 2009 - The Newburyport Wine Group--Truffles and Nebbiolo (Chez nous, Byfield, MA): Dark ruby color. Nose of blackberries and dark cherry, smoke. Similar palate with some cedar. Mouth-coating tannins. Big and hedonistic but possibly slightly overripe.
