12/3/2021 5:36:00 AM - Took your advice and bought some Bruno clair CSJ 18. After your prescient calls on Arnoux Lachaux les chaumes 18 and other AL wines, I'm a believer

12/3/2021 6:10:00 AM - Very good. And the last fabulous one to buy is the Chateauneuf du Pape Clos des Papes 2019, easy to find for the moment (only)

12/3/2021 6:28:00 AM - On the other hand, if I am sure that Bruno Clair's 2018 CSJ will be a fabulous wine to drink, I am not sure that it is a fabulous wine for the investment. If this is your priority, buy Clavelier, Leroux, Figeac (2019), Canon, Carmes H-B, Gangloff (2018-19), Clos des Papes (2019) and Petrolo Galatrona (2019).
    Merry Christmas

12/3/2021 2:19:00 PM - Appreciate your comments. I am a fan of great tasting wine (not investments) and buy 1~3 bottles of wines I like...my favorite was the casanova di neri Tenuta Nuova 2010. I will also look out for the clos des papes. Have a great year end~

12/3/2021 10:20:00 PM - We are the same, I only buy wines to drink them but it's reassuring to know that we made the right choice when they double in price. I love the Tenuta Nuova but only know the 2012. I have a special love for the Sandrone Aleste (ex Cannubi Boschi) 2016 and for the greatest of all (in my humble opinion), the Pingus 2019.
    Yours truly.

12/3/2021 10:48:00 PM - And just to finish, we recently compared several vintages of Rayas, Beaucastel Hommage a J. Perrin, and Clos des Papes. The result:
1st: Clos des Papes 2019 (79 euros / bt) for 4 out of 5 people
    2nd: Rayas 2010 (around 2000 euros / bt)
    3rd: Rayas 2012 (??? but expensive too)
    4th J. Perrin 2016 (400 euros / bt)
No worries to have for this purchase!
