Sunday, January 1, 2023 - Candied strawberry, soap, and tobacco notes upon opening. With air the candy-like elements dissipated while the wine rounded-out. More strawberries in the mouth with sharp acidity. Slightly disjointed with the fruit dominating the earth in a less-than-harmonious way. May wait another year or two for the next one hoping for more balance.
