Tuesday, February 4, 2020 - Tasted at the Barolo and Barbaresco World Opening Tasting Event in NYC. Traditional style, fermented with inoculated, native yeast, 40 day maceration and aged in botte grande. This is a very perfumed and floral expression of Nebbiolo, with good structure, plenty of cherry and some strawberry fruit, some leathery notes in the mid-palate and some anise on the moderately long finish. With just a little more bright acidity I think this would be fantastic. Nonetheless very complex and delicious.
