Saturday, October 9, 2004 - An easy afternoon with close friends (@ FD): Blood red/carmine with a slightly brown edge. Barnyard and butter in the bouquet. Spicy, juicy, good acidity, oak. Soft tannin in the finish. A powerful and elegant wine. Mature and in the first half of its mature life.
