Friday, January 26, 2024 - Decanted 30 minutes before service. In the glass, a soft gradation from clear orange-red at the rim to a deep crimson at the center. On the nose, a burst of cherries with reticent herbal elements in the background. On the palate, leaning heavy with the fruit, skirting close to fruit bomb territory before acidity, minerality, and some residual tannins kick in to save the day. A Central Coast pinot that could easily be a ringer for RRV.
