Wednesday, June 9, 2010 - Nice color for a cheap wine ($6.49), but that's pretty much where it ends. Nose has unappetizing green notes with some earth and spice, but not at all expressive or attractive. Palate enters full enough, but hollows out into a thin finish with plenty of minerality and tannins, but little to no fruit. There is also lots of heat on the finish. Not a terrible wine when considering the price point (and I always factor that into the equation). This wine is out of balance.
