Saturday, May 14, 2022 - Brought by a friend to dinner after a couple hours of air. Perfect with steaks, mushrooms and a truffle cream sauce. Typical of late in the Justin Meyer era (I know he wasn’t technically winemaker after 1994) Silver oak Cabs. Somewhat extracted and heavily oaked but still quite balanced, bright and energetic while having a richness and depth of flavor and texture. Nice finish. Probably at/near peak.
