Sunday, March 7, 2021 - Another solid vintage of this Cabernet Franc from Sheridan - the first of three, it reveals subtle but rich notes of cedar, blackberry, herbs, and vanilla, turning to graphite, cherry, plum, and a distinct note of fudge with time. In the mouth it doesn't really show its stuff until after 2-3 hours in the decanter, showcasing big, rich flavors of dark and red fruits, chocolate, and game. This will likely improve over the coming years, and we look forward to following it!
