Sunday, June 2, 2013 - I've had the luxury of tasting this wine from 1978, 1995, 2000 and now 2006. Pencil led barnyard, wet gravel...as great Bordeaux from the Medoc Peninsula would show. The difference from the other vintages that I've tried is that this one shows much more fruit on the mid palate. Acid is medium plus, alcohol low, finish medium plus. I love this wine, but it's for the ages. Definitely not ready to drink yet. Please hold on to it for at least another 5-7 years.
