Thursday, May 25, 2023 - Took a while to open. I decanted it, but after five hours, it was still pinched and kirschy, so I left it. Four days later, after two further tries, it finally opened properly, revealing a more appealing mixture of dark cherry and blackcurrant, quite silky and stylish, but still a little pinched and tannic. It certainly needs several more years in bottle and for the difference in price, I would rather have a Léoville-Barton any day.
