Monday, September 1, 2014 - 2006 pichon Lalande
Color: dark purple/red
Nose: crushed rocks, ripe black currants, pure pauillac, big & one dimensional at the moment
Palate: lovely balance, full bodied, plump, voluptuous, shows it's class & pedigree, long finish, still a baby, still has considerable tannins so give it a lengthy decant & best with a hearty meal, best to open in say 3-5 years & will last for a long time
