Sunday, November 19, 2023 - Decanted for a couple of hours. Small amount of silty sediment. Just past ruby on the way to mahogany in colour. Delicate, feminine and floral on the nose. Violets, red plum, camphor, dried cranberry, woodspice and light smoke and leather. Medium bodied, slightly tart, dried red fruits, no tannin and a soft yet tart finish. Mostly dried red fruits on the palate as compared to the nose. Cranberry, red plum skin, rosehip, light leather, dried rose petals and a touch of blueberry leaves on the finish.. Past its prime but still hanging on gracefully. Nice dry, tangy finish. An elegant older lady of a wine. Probably should be drink up of the next few years.
