Friday, July 8, 2011 - The Gaja Langhe Darmagi is a medium bodied, garnet wine with a brick edge. The wine is starting to show some age. The rich nose features licorice and vanilla. Plush and soft in the mouth with tastes of lots of melded red fruits. The long finish is rich with lots of red fruits. The wine has excellent balance and has become a nearly seamless wine. This is just stellar and is drinking very well at this point in time.
